#HaveYourSay: Sandton residents tell us who they’re hoping will win the #WorldCup2018

We asked Sandton residents if they would be watching the Fifa World Cup and, if so, which teams they will be supporting. Here's what they had to say ...

ZEE YAKO: I don’t watch soccer at all so I don’t really care about the World Cup but I do hope that one of the African teams wins.

 

ROSS WINSON: I’m a big fan, there’s always so many, gees. I’ll be supporting Belgium this year because the team from the Netherlands didn’t make it in and that’s the closest relation.
ISHMAEL NGAKANYANE: I’m a huge soccer fan, I’ll be supporting Spain this year because I like the way they play but I hope the African teams will do well.
NOMHLE DLAMINI: I watched the first game and I really enjoyed it. I hope that Nigeria and Spain do well in the World Cup.
ROSS MACKAY: I’m not a soccer fan at all, I just find it boring. My girlfriend is German though so I would like the German team to win for her sake.
