An accident between a bakkie and a sedan brought traffic to a standstill at Westgate Shopping Centre last night (29 May) .
The accident took place at the intersection of Westgate Road and Crous Drive at approximately 6.30pm.
A bakkie was travelling on Crous Drive towards Wilgerood Road when, according to eyewitnesses, it skipped a red traffic light and crashed into the sedan.
Emergency vehicles and the Metro Police were swiftly on the scene. The driver of the sedan was not injured but the driver of the bakkie sustained mild injuries.
