Constantia Kloof Primary School once again is hosting its annual 10km road race and fun run on Saturday 1 November.
Runners can enter to take on either the 2km, 5km or 10km route. It has become a well-supported event with participants from all over Gauteng.
The run is a good warm-up for those participating in the Soweto Marathon the next day.
Harcourts Rhino again is the primary sponsor, and with Sportsmans Warehouse, Amma Clean House and Charlenesphotos also on board, the run promises to be a huge success.
The first 100 online 10km entries receive T-shirts, and medals will be awarded to all finishers in the 2km, 5km and 10km category.
Spot prizes and Sportsmans Warehouse vouchers are up for grabs at the prize-giving.
Cash prizes of equal value will be awarded to men and women in the 5km and 10km run. In the 10km run, first prize is R350, second is R250 and third is R150.
In the 5km run, first prize is R150, second is R100 and third is R50.
The 10km run starts at 7am, the 5km run at 8am and the 2km run at 8.05am.
Participants can enter online at www.entrytime.com or on the day from 6am.
The race starts and finishes at Constantia Kloof Primary School, Liebenberg Street, Roodepoort.
Ample parking is available in Heroldt Street.
