Local singer to launch second album

Constantia Kloof resident and local rocker Justin Serrao will be launching his second album on 26 October at Parker’s Comedy Club, Montecasino.

Serrao said that the album is named Forget and Let Loose. “After a year of hard grinding, I think it’s time to release my album to the public.”

He added that the album is about a couple that has been struggling with an off-and-on relationship that never seems to work out. “It’s the typical thing that happens between a couple before the break-up where both of them are too proud to show their love for each other.”

According to Serrao, the event will have a couple of surprises with the piano player from The Parlotones, Glen Hodgson, who will form part of the six-piece band performing with Serrao.

The Parlotones frontman Kahn Morbee said that he will attend the event as a fan. “Serrao is a awesome singer and songwriter and I urge everyone to go out in their numbers to support him with his CD launch.”
