Petrol price goes down by 69 cents

The Energy Department announced that the price of petrol will go down by 69 cents.

From Wednesday 3 December, it will cost motorists 69 cents per liter less to fill their cars with petrol. Diesel will drop by 53 cents while illuminating paraffin will cost 49 cents less. LP Gas will drop by 21 cents.

In mid November, the Automobile Association (AA) predicted that a drop in international fuel prices and the rand/dollar exchange rate could lead to the decrease in fuel prices.
