It was interesting to see Councillor Marion Kemp’s letter in the issue of 18 December 2015.
It’s good to hear that she’s alive and well as she’s led us to believe that she emigrated or left the country. It’s also good to recieve her reassurances that she’s here to serve the community and help us with our problems.
Our community has sent her dozens of emails over the past two years regarding the unfortunate situation in our residential area (Roodepoort CBD) which is deteriorating in front of our eyes and is currently resembling a slum.
A stitch in time saves nine and hopefully 2016 will bring the fruition of Kemps’ promises and assurances.
