What has Mayor Mashaba been up to during his 100 days in office?

The City Joburg has been under new management for 100 days.

Today, Johannesburg Mayor Herman Mashaba gave his 100 days report on progress made since he took over as leadership.

Caxton Metro Reporter, Chantelle Fourie, attended the briefing and reports that  although the budget was approved two months before the local government elections, the City is in a far worse state than he thought.

He also added that previous leadership was ”out of touch” with the needs of the people.

And added that ”people wanted to run a City they have never walked in” when the dilapidated state of the CBD was mentioned.
