ER24 paramedics had to initiate life support interventions after a man was shot multiple times in his back last night. The incident occurred while the man was on foot on Albertina Sisulu Road.
Paramedics found the man lying on the side of the road. He was surrounded by several members of the community. Paramedics stabilised the patient and immediately transported him to Helen Joseph Hospital.
The cause of the incident is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
