The ward committee elections will be taking place on 4 February, but do you know where to go to cast your vote and what is needed to be able to participate in the voting process?

Gert Niemand, the councillor for Ward 84 urges residents to participate in these elections, as it is in their interest as well. “A resident who wants to participate in the voting process needs to take their green bar-coded identity book with them to the venue in their ward. It is important to know that you need to be a registered voter in the ward, before you can cast your vote,” he said.
