Garden at Maragon Private High School

Garden project to feed the needy

Maragon Private High School has decided to expand its community outreach programme this year, by adding a vegetable garden to its projects.

The aftercare department has offered the use of some of its space to the high school, who will be maintaining the garden during the term. During holidays, the aftercare department will look after it, with the assistance of some of the high school learners. The long-term aim is to make a difference – to be able to provide the Zandspruit Outreach children with take-away veggie packs or a veggie meal during winter.
