South Africans urged to bring country to standstill
Will you be staying home this Black Friday?

A call for South Africa to shut down this coming Friday has been doing the rounds on social media. The purpose of the march is to ask president Jacob Zuma to step down from his position. The post calls for every citizen and every city to take to the streets in protest and not go to school or work.
The protesters in Johannesburg will allegedly march to Luthuli House where the African National Congress (ANC) headquarters are located.
Since no official notices of protest action have been issued, the community should not be alarmed and should go to work or school as usual.
More updates will follow.
