Toddler in horror collision
The child and an adult were hit by a taxi.
A man and a toddler of about two years old were struck by a taxi this weekend.

Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a collision along Main Reef Road and found that the 38-year-old man tragically died at the scene due to the extensive injuries he had sustained. The child was lying a few metres away from him victim and had sustained moderate injuries. The child was stabilised at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital.

“Exact details as to the cause of the crash and preceding events are still speculative and will form part of the police investigation,” said Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha.
