Paint company in Little Falls helps industrial engineer student with paint donation
LITTLE FALLS – Universal Paints in Little Falls assists industrial engineering student with paint equipment worth more than R3 000.

A local paint company has played a huge role in contributing resources to a young aspiring industrial engineer who has been tasked to revamp a pharmacy at Weskoppies Hospital in Pretoria as part of his community-based assignment at the University of Pretoria.
A grateful 19-year-old Kurt Swart from Little Falls told Roodepoort Northsider that he decided to approach Universal Paints for assistance after realising his shoestring budget could not cover all the expenses for the project such as transport, material and other expenses.
“We have a module at school called Community Based Projects. We had an option to refurbish a school or hospital. We had a budget of R1 800, and I knew this budget wouldn’t be enough so I gave Universal Paints owner, Tiens Reinecke, a shout to supply me with some paint, and he gave me more than what I asked for,” Swart said.
He said Reinecke supplied him with painting equipment worth more than R3 000 and will commence the project in July.
“The help from Universal Paints sorted us out. We are going to do this project around July. And I would like to thank Reinecke so much for the equipment. He is not just a good businessman but also a good man with a good heart,” Swart concluded.
