Youngster perform in Croatia
Mia achieves as part of South African dance team
A Grade 8 learner from Maragon Schools was part of the South African dance team that competed at the Dance Star World Dance Masters championships in Croatia.
Mia was part of two dance crews – JNR Perfection and Rebellion. The crews achieved a fourth and eighth place respectively. Mia also received a medal that was awarded to the South African team for achieving an overall second place at the championships.
“There were over 20 competing countries with 7 000 dancers at the championships, and Mia and her crew did fantastically well. We are very happy,” said her father, Matthew.
