Young players with a dream of representing the Gauteng province had their chance to prove their skills this weekend. Players and teams from the West Rand and across the province competed in the regional trials of the School Winter Games, in tennis, hockey, rugby, netball and volleyball.
The Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation hosts the Gauteng Schools Winter Games, in partnership with the Department of Education, Gauteng School Sport Codes and the Federations.
