National Fresh Breath Day
Make sure you have minty fresh breath on #NationalFreshBreathDay

6 August is National Fresh Breath Day. It’s observed annually to appreciate oral hygiene and the importance it plays in a person’s life.
Dentists and oral care professionals hail this day as a dedicated way to fight bad breath and all the other diseases associated with it.
Follow these tips to ensure your breath is always minty fresh:
• Eat a low-carb diet balanced with fats and proteins
• Remember to eat your vegetables
• Snack on more apples or any other crunchy, healthy foods
• Drink at least one and a half litres of water a day
• Drink more green juice and less coffee
• Chew on fresh mint leaves or parsley
• Take probiotics
• Brush and floss every single day
• Clean your tongue
• Rinse with alcohol-free mouthwash that contains a zinc compound
