FC Real to take on International Super Cup
FC Real's U/14 team prepares to go overseas for the 2018 English International Super Cup.

The U/14 FC Real team is looking forward to participating in the 2018 English International Super Cup.
The tournament, known as the Manchester Easter Tournament, will take place on 30 and 31 March 2018. Over 80 teams from all over England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Switzerland, South Africa, the USA, and Trinidad and Tobago will take part.

Many players from the FC Real U/14 team have trained with Super Sport and two players are from the Super Sport Academy. Bright stars like Matthew Butler, Israel Ea Iiyolongo, Eddy Ndjeka, Aiden Wasserman, Mugammad MacPherson and Realeboga Kgatshe have been invited to the district competitons and also to represent SA with the Rand Central Local Football Association (RCLFA) in the Donosti Cup 2016/17 in San Sebastian, Spain.

This year, Aiden Wasserman was invited to join Arsenal Academy in their advanced training programme.
FC Real’s team consists of 17 talented players. Many of these players have never been overseas or in a plane before. The club needs R480 000 to send the full team, reserves and two coaches to the tournament.
“Many of the players are underprivileged, so this is such a major opportunity and great exposure for them,” said fundraising mom, Celest Butler.
The club will be hosting a fundraiser on 14 October. For more details, contact fundraising managers, Natalie Solomons on 072 609 5301 or Celest Butler on 071 602 1895.
