Learners serve cups to love
Trinityhouse Little Falls Grade 10 learners host a Women's Day High Tea to remember.

Trinityhouse Little Falls recently celebrated women with their annual Women’s Day High Tea, which saw mothers and community members dressed up to the nines.
This year was the school’s biggest Women’s Day event with 240 women in attendance. The Grade 10 learners worked in pairs to host the tables. Each pair also had to sell eight tickets for a seat at their table where they served their guests delicious tea and snacks. All proceeds from this event went to Tjokkers vir Jesus, which forms part of Cradle of Hope.

Inspirational speakers such as Marizanne Griessel, who shared her make-up advice, and Madeline Helm, who discussed the balancing act women perform every day, entertained the guests. Grade 10 learners, Avela Fongoqa and Troy du Plooy, showcased their amazing music talent. “The morning was a stunning success and was enjoyed by all who attended,” said one of the coordinators, Nicola Nilsson.
