Second serious accident at same intersection within a month
One driver had no insurance.

At about 9.45am on Wednesday, 27 September, yet another accident occurred at the intersection of Prosperity Road and Chaucer Avenue in Lindhaven.

A driver in a VW Polo was travelling along Prosperity Road when he allegedly skipped the stop sign at the intersection with Chaucer Avenue. He slammed into a woman driving a Mercedes Benz. The woman suffered serious injuries and had to be taken to hospital. The driver of the VW Polo allegedly had no vehicle insurance.

The accident comes after a young man lost his life at the same intersection on 18 September, when an allegedly heavily intoxicated man also skipped the stop sign.
