Black festive season ahead for motorists
The steep rise can be attributed to increasing international prices of Brent Crude oil and the further weakening of the exchange rate.

If you were planning to go on holiday or even on daily outings this holiday season, you are in for a rough ride.
The AA has predicted a steep rise in fuel prices, with effect from Wednesday, 6 December. Motorists can expect to pay as much as 71,9c more per litre for petrol, 63c more per litre for diesel and 75c more per litre for illuminating paraffin.

This means 93 octane petrol will cost you about R14,50 per litre, while diesel and 95 octane petrol will set you back about R14,77 per litre.
