Three cheers for all the unsung heroes

Helen Walker from Roodepoort West writes:

During the festive season my son lost his wallet with all his cards, money and his driver’s licence at Princess Crossing. We only discovered much later that the wallet was gone. We turned the house and car upside down in search for it but no luck. We went to all the stores we had been to but the result was the same, much to our dismay. He went about obtaining new cards, but obviously this took time.

A week or so later we went back to Princess Crossing and once again parked in the basement. A car guard approached us, his name is Pelios Zeree. He told us that he recognised our car from the last time we had been there. He said when he saw the wallet we were too far away for him to stop us, so he picked it up and took it to the customer care department.

Imagine our joy when we got my son’s wallet back with all the cards inside and not even a cent missing!!!

Three cheers for all the unsung heroes like Pelios, security officers, Khaya Molefe and customer care at Princess Crossing. In these hard times your integrity is amazing. God bless you in 2018.
