Traffic delayed after tanker plunges into ditch on Christiaan De Wet Road
Motorists advised to use alternative routes.
A warning has been issued a short while ago regarding an accident at the intersection of Christiaan de Wet and Wilgerood Roads.
A tanker was travelling on Wilgerood Road and the driver tried to turn right into Christiaan de Wet Road towards Ontdekkers Road, but failed and drove into a ditch. The road will be closed for the next five hours. Authorities are apparently waiting for a suitable towing vehicle.

At this stage it is uncertain whether anyone has been injured.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and take alternative routes such as Doreen Road.
