Nose to the grindstone for Unisa employees

The eight-day strike has came to an end and it’s back to work for Unisa employees.
An agreement was reached between the National Education, Health and Allied Workers’ Union and Unisa on Friday 26 January. The wage increase agreement is on a sliding scale of 6,5 per cent to 8,5 per cent for the lowest paid workers, with massive salary increases for security personnel and cleaners, being 20 per cent and 18 per cent respectively.
