Marthie Coetzer, a local resident, is appealing to the owner of a lost Indian ringneck parakeet which turned up at her house recently to come forward.
Coetzer indicated that although the bird is tame, it should not be in a cage; however, “It is cared for and safe at the moment,” she said.
