Judokas shine at African Championships
Success for Harm and Dewald in Burundi

Two judoka from the KJK Judo Club were part of the South African team that competed at the African Nations Championship in Burundi.
Harm Venter competed in the junior category and managed to win a bronze medal in the individual, as well as the team competition. Dewald Schultz competed in the Cadet championships (15 –17 years). He was a member of the National Cadet Judo Team that participated in the African Mixed Team competition, and also bagged a bronze medal.

“I am very proud of these two students; not only did they accomplish good results, they also wore their national colours with pride, ensuring that the names of Judo South Africa, the West Rand and the KJK Judo Club, were held high,” said Katja.
