Enjoy a fun-filled day while raising money

The community is invited to join the Vikings Boxing Academy on 30 June to support their fundraising event.
The event, which will be in the form of a boot camp, will take place at the boxing academy’s home, which is the Witpoortjie Recreation Hall, at 3 South Road, Princess.
“Registrations will start at 7am, and the event will be from 8am to 10am. Teams consisting of five members will be participating in crossfit and obstacle course events, and the team that finishes in the fastest time, will be the winner. It will only cost R50 per person to enter,” said Vikings head coach, Phillip du Randt.
He added that Christa Piater, who is the crossfit/ aerobics instructor at the Witpoortjie Recreation Centre, will draw up the boot camp programme. She will also have a team participating in the event.
“Anyone is welcome, irrespective of age or fitness level. The items will not be very advanced as we want everyone to have some fun. We will also be selling boerewors rolls, hot dogs, cold drinks and energy drinks, “ Phillip said.
All proceeds from the day will be used towards the tournaments Vikings Boxing Academy will be hosting in September and November.
