Claw desperately needs your old newspapers

'We need old newspapers rather urgently'

Have you finished reading your newspapers, and are not sure what to do with them? Claw would be happy to take them off your hands.

The Community Led Animal Welfare’s (Claw) founder, Cora Bailey, is appealing to the community to assist them by dropping off their old newspapers.

“All our hospital cages are lined with newspaper that is changed several times a day, meaning we are always in desperate need of more newspaper. If you stay in a complex, please collect all the old and unused newspapers – we really need them, especially in this cold weather,” she said.

She added that the newspapers can be delivered to their clinic, and said, “If you have some newspapers for us, and are unable to drop them off, you can contact me and I will try to arrange with a volunteer to pick them up.”

For more information, contact Cora on 076 850 4466.
