Is JRA failing the residents?
The conditions the streets are extremely poor

Residents of Grobler Park feel that the Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) is failing them.
Even after allowing a significant amount of time for the JRA to respond to their complaints, especially about the state of Pringle Street, which is caving in, no one has been out to assess the situation, let alone repair it.

“It’s not just Pringle Street that is caving in, there are other streets in Grobler Park that are in an equally bad state. This area is not even old – it only became a residential area in 2004 – but the streets are in an extremely poor state, with deep cracks opening up. Pringle Street is a busy street and it’s getting more damaged on a daily basis,” said concerned resident, Alson Netshilata.
“Even the drains are not working – they have been blocked for years, but no one has come to fix them. When it rains the water comes in to our houses,” he added.
Residents stated that they are extremely worried about their homes being affected by the caving in.
