Admitting learners to government schools in Gauteng has always faced challenges, even with the existence of the online registration portal.
In an attempt to find a solution for this, Gauteng Department of Education MEC, Panyaza Lesufi, has been visiting various schools across the province, inviting the public to participate in the Draft Amendments to the Regulations concerning admissions.
Krugersdorp High School on the West Rand was one of many schools that hosted this programme.
Members of the public who could not visit any of the listed schools are encouraged to email their comments to Faizel.Peerbhai@gauteng.gov.za before the closing date on midnight 30 August.
