A call-out for 14th Avenue clean-up
Amelia has appealed to community members to avail themselves between 9am to 12pm at the e-Toll building on Sentinel Road.

Ward 89 councillor, Amelia Bester has called on community members to join them on Saturday, 15 September when they embark on a massive clean-up operation to commemorate World Clean Up Day in her ward.
This global clean-up will be in line with the City’s A Re Sebetseng clean-up campaign which was spearheaded by the City of Johannesburg Mayor, Herman Mashaba.
Amelia has appealed to community members to avail themselves between 9am to 12pm at the e-Toll building on Sentinel Road. “We will conduct a cleaning operation of the koppie, the 14th Avenue on- and off-ramp islands, and the road reserve opposite MTN,” she said.
She also mentioned that they will be petitioning Provincial Government to increase lighting, for grass cutting and for the placement of signage about risks of smash-and-grabs and hijacking hot spots.
