Horison-based football club holding trials
Trials will be held for U/9 to U/14 players

The Etimar Football Development Foundation is calling on all youngsters who would like to play soccer, to attend their upcoming trials.
The Etimar 2019 Club Player Trials will be taking place during the weekend of 13 and 14 October from 9am until 12 noon. The club is based at West Ridge High School, Canary Street, Horizon View in Roodepoort.

Players from U/9 to U/11 will participate in the trials on 13 October, while the U/12 to U14 players will have their chance on 14 October.
According to head coach Timothe Ebande, their aim is to bring football to all ages. “Our mission is to deliver top-level soccer training and instruction, with the objective of guiding players to attain their maximum potential in the game of soccer. We are a community club, which exists to provide a safe and fun environment for children of all ages from Roodepoort and the surrounding communities to learn and participate in organised football,” he said.
He added that they have boys teams from two to 19 years old, and all age groups are managed by a head coach and an assistant coach, who have met the appropriate South African football trainers qualification requirements.
Training times are Tuesdays to Thursdays from 3.30pm to 5.30pm, and Saturday mornings from 9.30am to 11.30am.
