Sara Loots and Gaia Life will be hosting special yoga sessions once a month until the end of the year as collection drives for the Ark Animal Rescue Centre.
Sara, the founder of Gaia Life, has been involved in a few other collection drives for shelters this year already, and collecting for Ark Animal was simply next up on her list. “They do such amazing work at the shelter, and I just wanted to give them a hand,” Sara said.
She recently held a day of yoga sessions at her Gaia Life shop at Ngwenya Country Market on Sunday, 30 September, where the only entrance fee was a form of animal food or an item that could be used by Ark Animal to take care of the animals. While Sara will only be having one of these days every month until the end of the year, you will still be able to bring something along whenever you visit Ngwenya.
The Gaia Life shop will act as a drop-off point for the collection drive, with the hope of collecting as much food or miscellaneous items as possible by the end of the year. If you would like more information on the drive, feel free to contact Sara Loots on 072 181 0329.
