Metro Police spokesperson. Wayne Minnaar said, “This incident should rather be brought under the attention of the new Deputy Director of Region C, Sisa Mvumvu. The previous director of the region, Mike Smith, had officers regularly patrol the road, write fines and prevent culprits from using the road. It is uncertain what the new Deputy’s plan would be”.
The Record has attempted to contact Mvumvu for comment, but has not been able to reach him as yet.
