Anti-crime meeting to be held in Zandspruit

The meeting follows the death of a shop-owner, Getachomo Anore, 32, who was killed during a business robbery in broad daylight on Thursday, 15 November.

Honeydew Police have confirmed that they have arranged a meeting with the residents of Zandspruit to take place tomorrow, Saturday, 17 November, to discuss issues of crime.

It was alleged that he was strangled by one of the five robbers; however, a police report suggests that the may have had a heart attack.

The meeting will be held at 9am near the taxi rank as a follow-up on the meeting that took place at the station on Thursday, 15 November when the foreign shop-owners and leadership of Zandspruit sought help from the police after the tragic death of Anore.
