The Witpoortjie Spar fell prey to an armed robbery again on 25 November at about 6am.
This comes after robbers robbed a cash in transit vehicle which collected money from the store on 12 February. Both incidents happened early in the morning.

The most recent incident took place when management opened for the bakery to get ready for the day. Four armed men held the employees hostage before making off with an undisclosed amount of cash. It is uncertain whether other items were stolen too.
Various ATM scams have also taken place outside this Spar during the past few years.
Business owners are urged to be extra vigilant when opening and closing shop.
