For more than a year, Lindhaven residents have complained about school children being robbed on their way to and from school – especially on South and Progress Roads.
Yesterday though Dowry Security officers had a minor victory over the problem when the arrested a man after he had robbed a learner of his cellphones and other belongings.

In the late afternoon the company received a call for help. They rushed to Progress Road where they came across the two suspects. Although one managed to flee into the informal settlement they arrested his accomplice.
The suspect was later handed over to the Police’s K9 Unit.
