Police urge gun owners to collect licences and competency certificates

Roodepoort Police has issued an urgent appeal to firearm owners.
In a press statement their spokesperson, Captain Juanita Yorke said the following. “Roodepoort SAPS Firearm
Registration Centre requests members to please collect their firearm competency certificates and licences.

“There are approximately 200 firearm licences and 250 firearm competencies ready [for collection].
“They can be collected from 8am to 3.30pm on Monday to Friday from Room 29, Ground Floor, Roodepoort SAPS, 4 Raath Street, Horison,” she wrote.
