Curro Wilgeheuwel welcomes Grade 1s with open arms

A heap of the little ones were naturally nervous for their first day of school.

Curro Academy Wilgeheuwel opened its doors and arms to its latest group of adorable Grade 1 learners, who had their first day at the school on Wednesday, 9 January.

Hundreds of parents had the task of saying goodbye to their precious little ones when they dropped them off at the school, which naturally brought a tear or two to a few eyes. There were a few strong Grade 1s, but there were, of course, a few little ones who simply didn’t want to leave mommy and daddy behind.

While a strong sense of nervousness filled in the air, plenty of joyous faces were excited to meet their new teachers and make new friends.
