If you would like to provide input into the 2019/ 20 Property Rates and Credit Policy, then the three public meetings lined up for February are the perfect time to do so.
The City of Joburg is calling on residents, ratepayers, stakeholders, and any other interested parties to provide their input into the review of both the Property Rates and the Credit Control Debt Management Policies. The policies which will be under review with the public will be those relevant to the 2019/ 20 period.
The City will be holding three consultative regional meetings for Region C, with all three taking place in early February at three different venues, in Roodepoort, Cosmo City, and Bram Fischerville respectively. The first public meeting will take place at the Roodepoort Civic Centre on 4 February, from 6pm to 8pm. The second will be at the Cosmo City Multiple Purpose Centre on 5 February, also from 6pm to 8pm. The final Region C meeting will take place on 6 February at the Bram Fischer Multi-Purpose Centre, again from 6pm to 8pm.
The meetings will provide residents with the opportunity to raise any concerns or questions they may have regarding the policies under review with the City.
