Clearwater shopper wins brand-new JMC bakkie
Gary Milton was the sixth finalist to try his luck.
Gary Milton found himself the lucky owner of a brand-new 2019 JMC Vigus after winning a competition run by Clearwater Mall for the last three months.
The competition started on 1 November last year and the requirements were simple; spend more than R250 at any Clearwater Mall store, write your details on the back of your slip and place your slip inside the bakkie at entrance seven. The competition finally concluded on 31 February, with the draw for the 10 lucky finalists taking place the next day on 1 February.
Gary Milton was one of the lucky 10 selected to find out whether they won the bakkie on Friday, 8 February, The 10 finalists were each handed a remote for the bakkie, and only one of them – the winner – held the right remote to unlock the bakkie. Gary was the sixth finalist to try his luck, which turned out to be the winning number.
“I’ve always wanted a bakkie, and my daughter’s favourite number is six, so this is really special,” Gary said. Gary, who stays in Discovery, had the bakkie, which is valued at R290 000, handed over to him by representatives of JMC as well as Clearwater Mall.
