Maragon welcomes Lego Expo once again
There was a total of 2 982 people who walked through the expo's gates.

Maragon Ruimsig once again welcomed jhbLUG for the second annual Lego Expo at the school. The Lego Expo granted the West Rand’s biggest Lego fans a chance to experience some stunning Lego displays alongside fellow Lego fans while also giving families the chance to bring their little ones out to have a family day. There were blocks located all around the expo for the children to play with and bring their wildest Lego ideas to life with help from Lego experts.

The expo wasn’t all about the Lego however, as R3 000 was raised for the NGO, Rainbows and Smiles, which provides emotional, social, and financial support to families and caregivers in need when a child (or children) of that family is diagnosed with cancer.
This year’s expo was also a major success in the sense that they saw 1 100 more people walk through the gates compared to last year’s inaugural expo.

During the expo, there was also a lucky draw where 60 people could buy a ticket to enter the draw to win a Lego Bugatti valued at R6 000.
Michael Smith, founder of jhbLUG, made sure to emphasise that this will not be the last Lego Expo at Maragon. “Maragon has been amazing, and we aim to make this an annual event with them,” he said.
