Winners in the SPCA competition announced
‘Thank you to everyone who supported our cause’
The Roodepoort/ Krugersdorp SPCA’s pet photo competition has come to an end and the lucky winners have been announced.
The competition consisted of two different categories – ‘I Love My Furkid’ and ‘I Look Like my Furkid’.
According to Nicole Manners, the SPCA Fundraiser, the support from the community was overwhelming, and a large number of entries were received. “We received many beautiful entries, and the judges had a hard time choosing our winners.”
In the ‘I Look like My Furkid’ category, Hayley Kruger was announced as the winner for her striking image of Micaela and Zorro.
The ‘I Love my Furkid’ category was a bit more difficult, and two entries were chosen as the joint winners. They are Priya Pitamber’s photo of Luna, and Kirsten Barnard’s photo of Azula.
Nicole concluded by saying, “The Roodepoort/ Krugersdorp SPCA would like to thank everyone who entered for supporting our cause.”
