Africa Day comes to life at Princess Primary School

The learners had to present loads of facts about the countries they represented.

On Friday, 24 May, Princess Primary School celebrated Africa Day in style, with learners and teachers dressed up to embrace all of Africa’s countries.

All the classes made flags of the different countries and dressed to resemble the culture of the country they were depicting.

The event was held in the school hall, where the learners presented the African countries which were represented on the day. Learners had to name the country, its president, its capital city, its official languages, education system, its national anthem, and the pride of the country, such as its national symbol, minerals, plants or food.

The event was enjoyed by both the learners and the staff.
