Ward 71 residents urged to drop off their CVs

Residents from other wards cannot gain any employment opportunities from this project.

On Monday, 24 June, a public meeting was held to address residents who are looking to gain employment from the South Road bridge construction project.

It was mentioned in the meeting that two boxes have been placed at the site offices (camp site) on South Road near Hoërskool Die Adelaar for residents to drop off their CVs. One of the boxes is for skilled workers, while the other is for general workers.

Applicants must attach copies of their identity documents as well as proof of address.

Only Ward 71 residents are permitted to apply for employment opportunities emanating from this project.

Residents are reminded that this is a Johannesburg Road Agency project, not the ward councillor’s (René Benjamin). For more information about the project, contact the Community Liaison Officer, Mduduzi Myeza, on 082 420 6324.
