Bring your old takkies to the Clearwater Fun Run

Clearwater Mall will have a #tekkiebin at the Clearwater 10km & 5km Fun Run, so make sure to bring your old takkies.
The race will take place on Saturday 17 August from 7am for those taking on the 10km race and 7.15am for those doing the 5km race.
This is what the route comprises:
The first kilometre is a fast, gentle downhill along Hendrik Potgieter Road, then left into the pretty suburb of Little Falls where you start the climb up to the highest point at about 5,5 kilometres. It is a gentle climb to Witwatersrand Road before turning right with the odd short downhill to relieve your legs. Here you will have a great view of the valley spreading out towards the Magaliesberg Mountains. For between 5,5 and 6,5 kilometres you drop rapidly, then it is a gentle climb up to eight kilometres, followed by a steady drop to nine kilometres. The climb to the finish in Hendrik Potgieter Road is gentle, but the last 80 metres climb into Clearwater Mall before turning right to the finish is tough.
Online entries collection is on Friday, 16 August from 12 noon to 7pm in the food court at Clearwater Mall. Entries can be done there as well.
