Be the hand that keeps on giving this Mandela Day

Make every day a Mandela day.

The Roodepoort office of Child Welfare South Africa is in need of the community’s help this winter.

They are appealing for donations of soup packs and noodles, which will be handed out to all the children on Mandela Day, which will be celebrated on Thursday, 18 July.

There are various drop-off points, as follows:

– Child Welfare SA Roodepoort, 45 Du Toit Street, Discovery. Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm.

– Café Blue Pumpkin, Featherbrooke Office Park, Eagle Road. Monday to Friday between 8am and 4pm, and on Saturday between 8am and 12pm.

– Rebel Paint and Hardware, Olivedale Corner Shopping Centre, Corner President Fouché Drive and Olive Road. Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5.30pm, Saturday 8.30am to 4pm and Sunday 9am to 1pm.

– Alice Art Gallery, 54 Dryf Avenue, Ruimsig. Monday to Sunday between 9am and 4pm.
