Vin is an American actor, director, screenwriter and producer. He rose to international fame for his role as Dominic Toretto in The Fast and the Furious franchise. His fame was entrenched after he starred in the war film, Saving Private Ryan.
Vin’s career began when he wrote and produced a short film, entitled Multi-Facial, in 1990. The film attracted the attention of director Steven Spielberg, who was developing Saving Private Ryan at the time.
He also voiced the character of the Iron Giant in the film of the same name, and the character Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy, and has close links with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Vin is also known for his portrayal of the comic book character Bloodshot in its film adaptation, and is slated to appear in the Avatar sequels.
