Driver seriously injured in Cosmo City crash
Reports from the scene indicated that two light motor vehicles were involved in the collision.

In the early morning hours of Saturday, 27 July, Netcare responded to a collision on the corner of Russia and Kiev Streets in Cosmo City, Randburg.
Reports from the scene indicated that two light motor vehicles were involved in the collision.

A driver of one of the vehicles sustained serious injuries and required advanced life support intervention to stabilise him while the fire and rescue services used the Jaws of Life to free him. Once treated, the patient was transported to hospital by ambulance for further treatment.
The driver of the other vehicle was found to be in a stable condition and declined ambulance transportation to hospital.
