No matter how much we want things to stay the same, life is all about change and its up to the individual to make those changes worthwhile. With that said, I would like to tell our treasured readers that as from Friday, 26 July, I will be leaving my position as a community journalist.
The past year and half in this organisation have been fruitful and productive.
Being a journalist is not only a job title to me – it is who I am. However, it is time I set off to the next chapter of my career journey as I will be venturing into the fields of education and entrepreneurship.
I leave with a happy heart, because I know that I have done my bit to serve my community and positively impact a life or two.
Don’t see this as a “Goodbye”. Let’s rather say, “See you around”.
