SPCA Inspector thanked for saving kitten

The King’s School West has praised Inspector Michelle Kok from the Roodepoort/ Krugersdorp SPCA and their Grade 11 learner, Savannah Taylor, who managed to save the life of a little kitten that was stuck inside a drain pipe on Monday, 5 August.
The duo assisted each other to conduct a rescue operation for the vulnerable four-week-old kitten that was lodged inside a drain that runs under a classroom.

“The two women went the extra mile to save this little kitten’s life – well done, ladies! The inspector’s love and caring for these animals shone deeply on the day as she was determined to stop at nothing to rescue this little animal,” said Michelle Dos Ramos, the school’s marketing coordinator.
“Thank you, Inspector Michelle, for your speedy response to our distress call. We appreciate you from the bottom of our hearts for saving this kitten, for your love for animals and for providing life-saving resources to all the animals out there, we thank you,” she commended the local inspector.
